TeleR4

Networks with the TeleR4 for scalable applications of the industrial Ethernet of Things.

TeleR4 product image
The compact network router with integrated switch and top-hat rail mounting connects up to four participants in manufacturing easily and quickly with the IIoT. Equipped with a 10-30 V power supply, the Ethernet router connects OT level networks to the IT level regardless of whether the participants come from the Ethernet or ProfiNet. Once powered, it can be operated as a switch, bridge, gateway, router or firewall.

How to use

A TeleR4 network connects up to four participants quickly and securely. Unpack. Connect. Connect. Securely. While the participants can have the same factory-configured IP addresses thanks to the integrated IP-Address-Changer, they can also be completely moved to their own virtual private network (VPN) if desired.

Depending on the existing infrastructure, the total of five configuration modes provide the necessary client and server roles to successfully and securely network all devices with each other. Based on the existing network setup, the setup of the scalable industrial router works almost completely automatically – especially via DHCP.

Configuration of the network addresses among others via DHCP.

Advantages

  • Simple and fast networking
  • Configuration via browser
  • Industrial assembly
  • Qualified support
  • Comprehensive documentation

The biggest advantage of the TeleR4 is the integrated OpenVPN client and server. These always establish a secure connection between the participants via a virtual private network (VPN). In addition, further restrictions for the connections can be made via the web interface in order to set up a secure Industrial Ethernet of Things.
